From first seminar to handover, every acoustic engagement follows the same disciplined five-step path.
We start with your free 90-minute acoustic seminar to understand your project, goals, and constraints.
Our team surveys the site and measures existing noise, reverberation, and isolation conditions.
We model the space and design the acoustic treatment and architectural response it needs.
Findings and designs are documented into drawings and reports aligned with applicable codes.
We validate the completed space against the design targets and hand it over, ready to use.
Niterion was founded in 2022 by Engr. Dominic Lim, ECT., out of a conviction that acoustic design deserved a seat at the table from day one — not an afterthought bolted on after construction. What began as one engineer's practice grew into a dedicated consultancy as Colin Omisol, Ella Laisan, Adrian Caamino, and Engr. John Michael Rey Zamora, ECT. joined the team.
Today, based in Makati City, Niterion works with architects, developers, and building owners across the Philippines — helping them create spaces that are good to the ears and the eyes.
We partner with architects, engineers, and developers to engineer sound into the heart of design. Through building acoustics, room acoustics, and acoustic-led architectural design, we transform ordinary spaces into comfortable, tranquil environments that are as pleasing to the ears as they are to the eyes — pairing artistry with precise calculation to exceed the extraordinary on every project.
To redefine how the world experiences built spaces — where every room, building, and environment sounds as extraordinary as it looks, and acoustic excellence becomes the standard that great architecture is measured by.

Acoustic consultancy is the practice of designing, measuring, and specifying how sound behaves in a space — from keeping noise out to making a room sound clear inside it. If people in your building complain about noise, echo, or privacy, or you simply want a space that's comfortable to be in, you need one.
As early as possible — ideally during schematic design, before walls, MEP, and finishes are locked in. Acoustic decisions like wall assemblies, room shapes, and HVAC routing are far cheaper to get right on paper than to retrofit after construction.
Both. We work on new builds from the design stage, and we also assess and treat existing, already-finished spaces — though early involvement always gives more options at a lower cost.
We design and measure against internationally recognized acoustic standards — reverberation time (RT60), Noise Criterion (NC), Sound Transmission Class (STC), and others as applicable — and align with local Philippine building code and project-specific requirements.
Yes. We provide RT60 reverberation reports, Noise Criterion (NC) assessments, and other room- and building-acoustic documentation as part of our Room Acoustics and Building Acoustics services.
Institutional, commercial, office, residential, and hospitality spaces — including meeting rooms, auditoriums, lobbies, guestrooms, fitness centers, and utility spaces.
It depends on the size, complexity, and stage of your project. We scope every engagement individually — the best first step is booking a free acoustic seminar, where we learn about your project and give you a clear sense of scope and next steps.
Yes — genuinely free, with no obligation. It's a 90-minute session where you bring your floor plans and questions, and we bring the science.
Tell us about your project, or reach out directly — we typically reply within one business day.
